  • Don’t over-water your lawn. Water every 3-5 days in summer and 10-14 days in winter.
  • Use a broom instead of a hose to clean sidewalks.
  • Run the dishwasher and washing machine when fully loaded.
  • If you have a swimming pool, use a cover and you’ll save loss from evaporation by 90%.
  • When hand washing dishes, don’t leave water running; use 2 basins – one for washing and one for rinsing.
  • Defrost frozen foods in the refrigerator or microwave instead of using running water.
  • Limit your shower time to less than 15 minutes.
  • Turn water off while brushing your teeth.

THERE IS A PROCESSING FEE FOR ALL DEBIT/ CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS.

This fee is $2.50 for the first $50.00 – then 2.8% for the remaining amount. We accept all major credit cards.

Customers can submit service requests, disconnect requests, make payments, and sign up for paperless billing. Customers can also view a twelve-month usage history of their account.

AUTOPAY VIA WEB: Enrollment in autopay using a debit or credit card is available. The bill will automatically be charged to the debit or credit card on file, along with the applicable fee.

IVR PHONE PAYMENT: This option allows customers to call (423) 662-0074 and make a one-time payment using their debit or credit card. The processing fee will also apply to these transactions.

This feature allows customers to have their water bill deducted from their checking or savings account on the due date (10th of each month). The bank draft form must be completed and returned with a voided check to the office at least 15 days prior to the first draft. The form is available on our website under the FORMS tab. THERE IS NO FEE FOR THE BANK DRAFT FEATURE.

We DO NOT send out delinquent notices, but we do make automated courtesy calls to the phone number on the account. It is important to keep your number current with us to be able to receive these reminders.

Bills are due on the 10th of each month and disconnects begin on the 16th of each month. Any past due balance not paid by the 15th can be disconnected at any time without further notice. The past due balance plus a $75.00 reconnect fee must be paid to restore service. This must be done by calling or coming into the office.

RECONNECTS CANNOT BE PAID ONLINE.

RECONNECTS WILL NOT BE DONE AFTER NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS OR ON WEEKENDS.

Oneida Water is not responsible for bills being lost in the mail. If you do not receive a bill by mail, it is the responsibility of the customer to contact the office or go online to find the amount due.

Please call Tennessee 811 at least 3 business days before you plan to do any digging. Oneida Water will have 3 days to come and mark the main lines to avoid damage to lines.

811 is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year.
